Hello everyone, I am a master's exchange student. After my bachelor's, I solo-travelled for a few months, and in general, I really enjoy seeing the world and experiencing other cultures. In high school, I also studied some Mandarin out of personal interest, and I would like to continue improving my language skills during my exchange. 我從事教育和研究工作，背景是國際法與人權，對兒童權利特別感興趣。我關注國際事務，也會在空閒時間參與與兒童相關的志願工作。因為曾在國外學習和生活，我能自如地用英文和中文交流，也對日語、韓語和法語有一些基礎了解，但請不要期待我能立即使用這些語言。 平時我喜歡攝影，沒有時間壓力時在城市中漫無目的地散步，或者待在共享空間裡。朋友常形容我溫暖體貼，也容易與不同背景的人相處。我在國外的生活經驗讓我特別珍惜與朋友一起度過的悠閒夜晚、偶爾的百味聚餐、輕鬆的聊天，有時還會小酌一杯。 我目前在台灣，是為了工作、陪伴家人，也為下一步的海外計畫做準備。 I work in education and research, and my background is in international law and human rights, with a special interest in children’s rights. I care about international affairs and also do volunteer work related to children in my spare time. Having studied and lived abroad, I’m comfortable communicating in both English and Mandarin, and I have some basic knowledge of Japanese, Korean, and French, but please don’t expect me to speak them on the spot. In my free time, I enjoy photography, aimless walks around the city when there’s no time pressure, and spending time in shared spaces. Friends often describe me as warm and considerate, and I tend to get along well with people from different backgrounds. My time abroad has also made me appreciate relaxed evenings with friends, occasional potluck dinners, unhurried conversations, and sometimes a little wine. I’m currently in Taiwan to work, spend time with family, and prepare for my next step abroad.

Hello, I am coming to Taipei to study Mandarin at NTNU. I also plan to volunteer with an environmental NGO I interned remotely with in Taipei. I chose Borderless house to meet new people and have a place that will help facilitate my mandarin studies. In my free time I like to read old books, play video games, and go out to local events. I am a native English speaker, speak some Japanese, and have no experience speaking Mandarin. I have taught English on a volunteer basis before so I will be happy to help people practice their English. In my free time, I enjoy developing personal projects and plan to start my own company by the end of the year to launch my first software product.
